2025 Word of the Year

This year, my 2025 word of the year is Intentional. The reason I chose this word is simple: for far too long, I haven’t achieved the things I truly want in life. To change that, I need to be more intentional with my time and the things I focus on. I have specific goals I want to reach, both in my business and personal life. To achieve these goals, I must be more focused and willing to let go of anything that’s hindering my progress.

The only person standing in my way is myself. But with God’s help, I am determined to change that. I want to reignite my passion and keep moving forward. A couple of years ago, someone told me they felt I didn’t have a dream job or clear goals. That comment stuck with me—it bothered me because I did have dreams, but I also realized I wasn’t setting myself up for success. I was getting caught up in activities that wouldn’t help me reach those dreams. I had put my dreams on the back burner, and I refuse to do that anymore.

Last year, I took the first steps toward making my dreams a reality. I purchased a domain, set up hosting, and launched this blog. I’m still refining it to align with my vision, but I’m actively focusing on writing and developing products that I hope will be a blessing to others.

This year, my goal is to move forward in turning this blog into my primary source of income, along with building more passive income streams. I want to see not just my big dream of working for myself come true, but also the smaller, more personal dreams I hold dear. To make that happen, I must be even more intentional with my time, my focus, and, most importantly, my relationship with the Lord.

I am incredibly grateful that God places us in the right situations to help us get back on track. I’m also deeply thankful for the friends who support me, pray for me, and help keep me focused. So today, I encourage you to be intentional with your goals and your life. But above all, be intentional about spending time in the Word and deepening your relationship with the Lord.
