Review:

Liz Curtis Higgs has done it again. She has written a beautiful story about God’s forgiveness and healing. Sometimes it’s the healing of the heart that brings about the best redemption. I was so enraptured by the story that I had a hard time putting it down. By the end of the book I was still longing for more. If you are looking for a good story to read this is the story for you.

A period piece set in 1894 Scotland, you immediately fall in love with the characters and the story that takes place over a few short days. It’s amazing how quickly plans can change and God can work. I highly recommend this book.
