Between God and Me book review

I recently was contacted by B & H publishing group about doing a review on Vicki Courtney’s new book Between God and Me: A Journey through Proverbs. I jumped at the chance to do this because I have 3 girls and two in the “tween” age years.

After going through this book on my own (I like to do that before I go through them with my girls) I found that this is a great resource for you and your daughters to work through together. Being a study on Proverbs it imparts great wisdom into your tween daughters life. The book of Proverbs is a great wisdom book for anyone but having our children go through it at an early age will help to instill good morals and values in them early in life and help them to avoid problems later on in their maturing.

I advise any parent who has “tween”age girls to pick this up and go through it WITH your daughter. It will give you some good quality “growing” time together.

The book itself is set up in a magazine like format with full color pages, quizzes and great articles to instill the lessons they learn from Proverbs. I believe it will keep your daughters attention as you work through this and open up some good conversation and discussions as well.
