This book is a great book that teaches you and you’re child how to sew simple projects for fun and/or gifts. The instructions are simple and easy to understand. I have assigned some of these projects for us to do in our homeschool this year. The pictures are done really well and show the finished project as well as some illustrated step by step guides.  There is a project rating for each project that shows the time it would take and how hard of a project it is. There are at least one “no-sew” project per section. And all the patterns are in the back of the book. Some of the patterns will have to be enlarged depending on the project you are doing.

This is a very creative and fun book. If you have a child who is anxious to try sewing I would definitely suggest giving this one a try. Princess is very excited about this one.
