Kate Breslin’s newest book Not by Sight released yesterday, August 4th. This was the first book by this author that I have ever read and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The story was based off some true events and groups, which I love.  The characters were fun and believable and people that I would have considered appropriate to that time and place.

The camaraderie between the characters was real. I could literally see in my minds eyes the places and character’s come to life. Mrs. Breslin has that gift and she did her research very well. I will have to go back and read her first historical novel now.

This is one I recommend you pick up for your library.
