My review:

I found the story hard to put down. This is the continuation from the book Steadfast Heart which was book 1 in the Brides of Seattle series. In book 2 we follow the story of Militine and Thane. Both from similar backgrounds and both learning how to see God has a loving Father.

Tracie has a wonderful grasp of story telling and you find that her stories are light hearted while still making you think. You immediately start rooting for Militine and Thane and their struggle with God and their growing relationship with one another. Their ideas change and develop well throughout the story.

I love how Tracie dives right into the characters and the stories and they develop quickly and easily. She throws in some unexpected “side stories” as well and I love that. I’ve quickly become a fan of Tracie Peterson and can not wait until the 3rd book comes out in October.
