Waterbrook Multnomah sent me a copy of Sir Quinlin and the Swords of Valor to review for them. It’s book 5 in the Knights of Arrethtrae series. I have to say that I do love this series. I love that this is a parable of the Christian walk. This book actually showed me some things about myself. I know it seems funny to say that since its a “fictional” story geared toward teens, but its true. In this particular book there are “distractions” that keep the Knights of the Prince from doing their duty and I felt impressed that I too have allowed distractions to keep me from doing the work of the Lord in my own life. But Haven’t we all?

The story is well written and entertaining as well as showing truths about the Kingdom of God through a different way. If you have teens that enjoy fantasy or medieval stories, this would be a great series for you to get. You can find out how to purchase this book by clicking on the book title above. It really is a great story and I have read 3 books from this series myself. I have passed them down to my oldest daughter and we will be using these books as read aloud books in our schooling.
