This book is a great resource for those who have small spaces for growing things. She shows how to plant and where to plant.  I love that she includes container gardens in this book since we are in a rental at this time.

Karen shows you how to plan the garden, when to plant it, how often to water and what plants will grow well together in order to help you get the most use out of your garden space.

She has some garden plans in the book you can use as a guide, which is awesome for a beginner gardener like myself. It’s also very simple and easy to understand.  With this book in hand I think I can have a pretty successful garden even in my first year.
