Word of the Year! 2026

As I began to think about what my word for 2026 could be, I took some time to reflect over 2025’s word of the year. 2025’s word started as “Intentional”. Yet, we had some major things happen in our lives that seemed to uproot us. We were shaken to our very core and it caused a lot of upheaval in our lives. We had to deeply rely on the Lord to help us through it and it wasn’t easy. It was like a domino affect. We had a major thing happen in February, then another. Followed by several smaller things over the course of the next few months. My word then switched from “Intentional” to “Survive”. I really felt like that is what we were doing for the remainder of the year.

As I began reflecting I felt a shift in my spirit. I began to write again, mainly by journaling. And I am healing from the brokenness. It’s not always easy but it is getting easier. There is still healing that must take place but it has begun. I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve re-grouped and re-focused and I think the Lord has helped me to decide what I really want to do. I’m going back to the basics and trusting God to guide me through it.

My word for 2026 is “Follow Through”! I hope you all stay with me on this journey of following through with the plans that I have. I am determined more than ever to run the race that God has set before me. Keep watching for new posts, products and book reviews. I’ve got big goals and plans.
