My husband and I saw a pre-screening this week and it was outstanding. A genuinely patriotic film, perfectly timed for the 250th anniversary of our country. As a lover of history, I thought it stayed true to what I’ve read about Washington and did a great job portraying him as a young man. We’re planning to go again on opening weekend and bring our daughters.
If you only catch one movie this year, make it this one — it will pull you into the story. I can’t say enough good things about it; in these times, it’s exactly what we need. Check Angel.com to see if it’s playing near you.
